Live Score review

For sports fans still keeping to Windows Phone, this app will be a beam of light tracking the most essential events in most popular sports. The service brings scores on your phone as news arrives, so you’re essentially aware of what happens. No matter if you place bets or just love sports, you'll find this app useful for you. Design and Usability 9/10 As the app lists a lot of data, it has to be a bit complicated, and it’s okay. It has a separate section for each type of sports, with live scores, odds, commentary (if available), fixture results, and database it keeps. You just need to tap the tile to open the section. The app also features rich options section that allows you to set up how it notifies you about events in real time or after refreshing the data. It may be hard to make it out right from the beginning because the app is very rich in info. But after a day or two, you’ll get easy with it. Its large sections have a certain type of logic you start to understand even before acknowledging that, as you go right through it all to basketball, ice hockey, or whatever sports you’re interested in today, track live events with commentaries or watch the scores of finished games. Key Functions 10/10 Just like it says on the tin, Live Score delivers the scores of the most prominent events of the most popular sports. First of all, it centers on football and soccer, covering more than a thousand games weekly, but it also pays attention to hockey, tennis, cricket, and basketball. Football or soccer fans may enjoy more advanced experience than others. Commentaries are available in live mode, so you need just to open the app and read them to know what’s going on.

Design and Usability 9/10

As the app lists a lot of data, it has to be a bit complicated, and it’s okay.

Key Functions 10/10

Just like it says on the tin, Live Score delivers the scores of the most prominent events of the most popular sports.

Optimized for slow connection, the app delivers only the most essential data in text format. AS you track a broadcast, it can notify you about goals or red cards with sounds and vibration. If you prefer to check it from time to time, you can set refresh rate manually.

The only inevitable vulnerability of this app is its dependence on external data sources. If one day its support is dropped, the app will become completely useless. But so far (as for January 2019) it works well.

Maybe watching matches in video streaming on YouTube or your TV can be more fun, but when you can’t afford to concentrate on it or enjoy good bandwidth to stream it, Live Score is real salvation.

Security And In-App Purchases 10/10

The app is completely free, that means, free of ads too. All you have to pay for (if ever) is data transfer, but it requires so little of it that it can be neglected.

What about the security of the app, all the content is safe and examined by specialists. The developers of the app guarantee privacy and your private information is top-secret.

Conclusion

If you’re away from your TV or just busy, but you want to keep track of current sports events, Live Score is the best tool to stay aware. So enjoy it while it’s active.

Minimalistic and informative, Live Score is a good provider of detailed sports news. Though it brings no live experience to the extent video broadcasts do, it does its modest job well.
