Gacha Studio (Anime Dress-Up) Review
Anime world is full of fandom wonders and Gacha Studio is one of the finest examples. This is an extremely heaped mobile studio for the creation of unique anime characters. Here you can use your imagination to the full and show off your creativity in studio mode. Ready with the character? Join online battle Arena to let everyone know about the power of your avatar.
Graphics and Sound 8/10
Gacha Studio design is slightly different from the famous Gacha Life as it’s not only about character creation. The interface of the game became less overwhelming, but all the previously featured adjustments are still on their place and even more. Each menu is accessible in a single tap, all icons are big and informative enough. The image looks fine, but it could be a bit less classic. It’s up to taste.
Gacha Studio has quite intuitive controls. However, you would need to press everything in the editor to memorize commands. Studio mode is simpler, because you have to tap or tap-&-drag items to get the result. Arena mode is the easiest one, because it is designed similarly to any arcade fighting.
The studio has 12 character slots and you can attach one pet to each of them. The new Arena mode brought multiple weapons to the game. Any character is able to carry front and back arms. You can also choose and customize pets and avatar’s profile with stars of a rarity. Developers knew, that there are experienced users, who would feel the lack of looks, so you can import ready-made presets from Gacha Life and be as unique as possible.
After customization, you can switch to the studio and add some crown-moves and make little funny sketches to share them with the community via your profile or use them as backgrounds in chats. Scenes are restricted only with your imagination. You can adjust the characters’ movements and add dialog bubbles to live up the scene with your own creative scenarios. Gacha classic chat is always available for you to invite friends and have some fun.
The most thrilling mode is called Arena. Surprisingly, this small 90MB game contains quite progressive fighting mechanics. Clashes are not only about showing off looks and stuff, but also about training your skills and discovering unique features of every single weapon. Hundreds of items are frequently updated, so it’s completely impossible to get bored. Isn’t it a perfect anime hideaway with all these features?
This application doesn’t require any personal data usage. You can voluntary link your game account with Facebook. There’s no need to worry about security measures as a game process doesn’t include in-app purchases. Game community is very active, but no reports about break-ins came in so far.
Lasting Appeal 8/10
Hundreds of items in this game are frequently updated, so it’s completely impossible to get bored. Fill up slots with self-made characters, discover their features on the Arena and chat with your friends from all over the world. Then do it again, again and again. Isn’t it a perfect anime hideaway with all these features?
Every anime geek would enjoy this fine chamber studio for creating unique characters. This dress-up app evolved to a new level with additional features such as story montage mode and arcade fighting. Contents in this game are fairly neverending because developers update it with items every week.
